Class of 2025: Celebrities who graduated this year
It's graduation season once again, and it's not just regular students celebrating their hard-earned diplomas. This year, we're seeing stars and their children proudly marking major academic milestones.
The 2025 graduating class showcases both the next generation of talent and inspiring figures who prove that there's no set timeline for education.
From the graduation of Angelina Cruz, daughter of Cesar Montano and Sunshine Dizon, to Joyce Pring's 15-year wait, take a look at some of our favorite showbiz icons and their kids as they celebrate their milestones on social media.
Bea Binene

Bea Binene is ready to wear the chef's hat now that she has completed her Pro-Culinary Asian Studies at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies after almost five years.
On Instagram, the actress reflected on how she managed to balance her studies with her busy filming schedule.
“I started in 2019, I used to go straight to class from taping, then pandemic happened, then went back to school, then graduated with my batch mates but I still continued to do make-up classes and OJT,” she wrote.
“It definitely was not an easy journey. Juggling work-business-school, to learning all the lessons, to all the burns, cuts, sakit ng likod, init sa kusina and all. I realized na hindi ka tatagal unless gusto mo talaga ginagawa mo,” she added. Despite the challenges, Bea said that her culinary school journey was also a “fun and memorable ride.”
Angelina Cruz

Ex-couple Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz reunited to celebrate the graduation of their eldest daughter Angelina Cruz, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management degree at the De La Salle University in Manila.
"Filled with so much gratitude. What an honor it has been to learn, grow, and graduate!" Angelina captioned her post. She finished with a degree in marketing management.
Magui Ford

Karla Estrada's daughter, Magui Ford, finished her university education in Melbourne with flying colors and now holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with double majors in Economics and International Politics.
Not only that, she also worked as a research associate at the University of Melbourne's School of Social and Political Sciences, specializing in Applied International Political Economy.
"So blessed! Eternally grateful to my pillars beyond words—my family for loving and encouraging me endlessly, and my friends who’ve kept me grounded. I hold you all very close to my heart," Magui said in her post.
Callie Ahmee

Dimples Romana could not contain her joy when her daughter, Christiana Amanda Lauren "Callie" Romana Ahmee, finally achieved her dreams of becoming a pilot.
Ahmee graduated in April from Southern Coast University in Australia with a Bachelor of Business and Enterprise, majoring in Aviation Management.
"[Boyet Ahmee Jr.] and I work hard, as a team, to make sure the kids have enough, not everything, but enough. Education, food, shelter, water, a family, a home. A bit of play and fun here and there. Adventures and misadventures. It was not easy letting Callie go then, it isn't easy now," Dimples wrote in her post.
The actress added, "But as we were looking over to see Ate [Callie] finally graduating from college yesterday, living on her own here in Australia for a little over three years now, everything became worth it."
Dimples highlighted how they are proud of Callie for growing up "from that shy, quiet little girl to this amazing human being," especially in a male-dominated field.
Kakie Pangilinan

Sharon Cuneta and Francis Pangilinan's daughter Kakie also has a bright future ahead of her now that she has received her diploma from her college in New York, United States.
Apart from her parents and her siblings, Miel and Miguel, Kakie's Yaya Irish was also there to celebrate her milestone with her.
While it's not known what course she finished, Kakie previously shared in a vlog that she would be taking a degree in writing and would probably have a minor in anthropology.
Joross Gamboa

Adding another feather to his cap, Joross Gamboa is now a proud graduate in biblical studies.
In an Instagram post this June, the actor shared that he's among this year's AB Biblical Studies graduates from Global Life University in Pasig.
Apart from the mandatory portrait in a toga, his carousel post featured heartwarming photos with his wife, Katz, and his batchmates, a celebratory selfie amidst his fellow graduates, and candid videos from the ceremony, including the moment he proudly walked across the stage.
Joyce Pring

Joyce Pring, who is now set to graduate from college after 15 years, proved that with enough determination, you can make your dreams a reality no matter how long it takes.
On her Instagram account, the television personality and podcaster shared her inspiring journey towards earning a degree in communication. She revealed how past financial and family hardships forced her to drop out of school and enter the workforce instead.
"I used to think about my 'wasted' potential—what I could've become if I had been given the chance to finish. But in my mid-20s, I began to realize: even though I didn't follow the traditional path, God still made much of my life," she began.
After building a career in media, her manager and mentor, Betchay Vidanes, encouraged her to return to school in 2023.
"I wanted to fulfill this dream because diploma o diskarte is a false dichotomy; one can do both, even if it's a long and arduous journey. I wanted to graduate so I can finally tell my 18-year-old self, crushed and dejected and forced to grow up fast, that, despite everything she had to go through to get here, God has always been good, and He has always meant it all for good," Joyce said.
Mikee Quintos
Mikee Quintos delighted everyone with the news that she has officially graduated from college after 10 years.
In a video, the Encantadia actress was all smiles as she gracefully walked across the stage, shaking hands with school officials. She was one of the 318 graduates from the College of Architecture at the University of Santo Tomas.
“Guess who just got one degree hotter!” her caption read.
Lara Quigaman

Lara Quigaman-Alacaraz is another celebrity who proudly announced that she has completed her diploma in Early Childhood Education in Canada with distinction.
The former beauty queen and actress captured her proud graduation moment, sharing a video of herself receiving her diploma on stage, alongside photos with her family, friends, and fellow graduates from Langara College in Vancouver, Canada.
In a separate post, Quigaman looked back on her journey towards the diploma, which she described as a "beautiful result of every sacrifice and challenge we’ve faced and overcome by His grace."
"Our family has always prayed that God would lead us to a place where we could be closer to one another and to Him—wherever that may be, no matter how difficult the path," she said. "Today, as I attended my convocation ceremony, we also celebrate His goodness and faithfulness. I’m teary-eyed typing this, because today is the beautiful result of every sacrifice and challenge we’ve faced and overcome by His grace."
