Actress Bea Binene has completed her Pro-Culinary Asian Studies after almost five years.

On Instagram, the 27-year-old actress revealed how she balanced her studies with her busy filming schedule.

“I started in 2019, I used to go straight to class from taping, then pandemic happened, then went back to school, then graduated with my batch mates but I still continued to do make-up classes and OJT,” she wrote.

In her carousel post, she shared her graduation picture, photos with her loved ones, and moments during her graduation ceremony at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS).

“Almost 5 years when it was just a 1-year course.. sabi ko nga, pa-masters na to kasi di pa ako tapos,” the Beautiful Justice star quipped.

“It definitely was not an easy journey. Juggling work-business-school, to learning all the lessons, to all the burns, cuts, sakit ng likod, init sa kusina and all. I realized na hindi ka tatagal unless gusto mo talaga ginagawa mo,” she added. Despite the challenges, Bea said that her culinary school journey was also a “fun and memorable ride.”

She said she "learned a lot" and "gained new friends." Bea also expressed her gratitude to the Lord, her family, CACS staff and instructors, and batchmates for supporting her journey through the years.

“Here's to discovering more flavors of life. To trying recipes and creating dishes. To that pinch or a dash of spice that will make life more colorful, delicious, and worthwhile,” she concluded.

Other than Bea, actress Judy Ann Santos was also among the graduates of CACS this year.

Bea's followers and fellow celebrities, including her Tween Academy co-stars, sent their congratulatory messages in the post’s comments section.

"Congratulations, Bey!” Barbie Forteza wrote.

" Congratulations Beanca Marie,” Joyce Ching commented.

“Congrats!!! Luto tayo!” Chef-host Sharwin Tee wrote.

Bea began her entertainment career in 2004 as a contestant on StarStruck Kids. Her first television appearance followed on the infotainment show Lovely Day.

She further honed her acting skills, portraying the tough girl Belinda Fortes in the TV series Reel Love Presents Tween Hearts.

Beyond acting, Bea is a wushu athlete, earning a bronze medal at the 2010 National Wushu Championships, and a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Diver.
