Cesar Montano, Sunshine Cruz come together for daughter Angelina's graduation
Ex-couple Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz reunite again to celebrate the graduation of their eldest daughter Angelina Cruz.
Angelina shared photos from her graduation ceremony from De La Salle University in Manila on Instagram on Feb. 23.
"Filled with so much gratitude. What an honor it has been to learn, grow, and graduate!" she captioned. Angelina finished with a degree in marketing management.
Meanwhile, Sunshine celebrated how she has "one down" as her eldest completed her studies.
"We are so proud of you! I've always prayed for this. Keep shining and we will be by your side all the way," the actress wrote.
For his part, Cesar marked the milestone with his own post.
"I can't be more proud of you my baby Buching!! May our great God in heaven continue to protect and guide you in your life," he wrote.
Cesar and Sunshine tied the knot in September 2000. Their marriage was later annulled in September 2018 after a legal battle that lasted for about four years.
Since their split, the actors reunited a few times for their daughters. They got together for Sam's 18th birthday in 2022, Angelina's 21st birthday in 2023, and Franchesca's high school graduation in 2024.
In December 2023, Angelina said she is "very happy" that her parents have "no bad blood" anymore.
"It's all just good vibes. I'm glad that we're like this and that it's just full of love," she told entertainment reporter MJ Felipe at the time.
Cesar has other children from his other wives including his eldest Angela and Diego Loyzaga. He has three other kids with his current partner Kath Angeles.
Meanwhile, businessman Atong Ang confirmed he was in a relationship with Sunshine in December 2024.
