Dimples Romana celebrates daughter Callie's college graduation in Australia
Dimples Romana is a proud mom as she recently celebrated yet another milestone in her children's lives.
On Instagram, the 40-year-old actress marked her daughter Christiana Amanda Lauren "Callie" Romana Ahmee's graduation in Australia.
"[Boyet Ahmee Jr.] and I work hard, as a team, to make sure the kids have enough, not everything, but enough. Education, food, shelter, water, a family, a home. A bit of play and fun here and there. Adventures and misadventures. It was not easy letting Callie go then, it isn't easy now," she wrote in the caption.
Dimples added, "But as we were looking over to see Ate [Callie] finally graduating from college yesterday, living on her own here in Australia for a little over three years now, everything became worth it."
The High Street star expressed her pride in Callie for following her dreams in aviation and graduating from Southern Coast University in Australia with a Bachelor of Business and Enterprise, majoring in Aviation Management.
"A young Filipina woman pursuing a career in a male-dominated field, doing it, making it. Dad and I are proud and so is every person who has seen you grow up from that shy, quiet little girl to this amazing human being."
The graduation came on the heels of another proud moment Dimples shared on social media—an unforgettable flight in which Callie was the pilot.
"First flight with Ate [Callie] as our pilot! [We] flew all the way to [Australia] to experience this."
In February, the actress shared that Callie achieved her dream of becoming a licensed commercial pilot.
Dimples and Boyet married in 2004 and share three children: Callie, Alonzo Romeo Jose, and Elio Juan Manolo.
