Magui Ford graduates from University of Melbourne with double major
With a double major to her credit, Magui Ford has officially completed her college studies.
Magui, Karla Estrada's daughter, finished her studies in Melbourne and happily shared her graduation with her followers. "So blessed!! Eternally grateful to my pillars beyond words—my family for loving and encouraging me endlessly, and my friends who’ve kept me grounded. I hold you all very close to my heart," she wrote on Instagram, alongside photos of her in graduation attire.
Magui holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with double majors in Economics and International Politics. Additionally, she worked as a research associate at the University of Melbourne's School of Social and Political Sciences, specializing in Applied International Political Economy.
Magui dedicated her graduation to her late friend, Kapuso actor Andrei Sison, who tragically died in a car accident in 2023. She concluded her message with a heartfelt, "We did it, Drei."
Her mother, Karla, shared a reel expressing immense pride in Magui's achievement, stating, "I am incredibly proud of you, anak, and I truly hope you achieve everything you set your heart on. May your life be filled with love for God, your family, and everyone around you."
"I will always be here, cheering you on and supporting you every step of the way," she continued.
Karla also acknowledged her daughter's dedication and hard work.
In 2021, Karla celebrated Magui's acceptance to the university, expressing her hopes for Magui's future. "Congratulations my dearest ate magui for getting into Australia's # 1 university! You got it anak!wooohoooo!!!maglayag ka anak at balang araw matutulungan mo ang mas nakararami."
Prior to her university education, Magui graduated from the British School of Manila.
