Joyce Pring achieved another milestone in her life as she proudly announced that she is set to graduate from college after 15 years.

On her Instagram account, the television personality shared her inspiring journey towards earning a degree in communication. She revealed how past financial and family hardships forced her to drop out of school and enter the workforce instead.

"I used to think about my 'wasted' potential—what I could've become if I had been given the chance to finish. But in my mid-20s, I began to realize: even though I didn't follow the traditional path, God still made much of my life," she began.

After building a career in media, her manager and mentor Betchay Vidanes encouraged her to return to school in 2023.

"I wanted to fulfill this dream because diploma o diskarte is a false dichotomy; one can do both, even if it's a long and arduous journey. I wanted to graduate so I can finally tell my 18-year-old self, crushed and dejected and forced to grow up fast that, despite everything she had to go through to get here, God has always been good, and He has always meant it all for good," Joyce said.

Now that she is near the finish line, she dedicated her story to God and her family and hopes that she could inspire those who "may feel like it's too late to try again."

"As long as we have the breath in our lungs and the willingness to persevere, there is still hope—God can make much of what little we have to offer Him," Joyce highlighted.

She also expressed her gratitude towards her "incredible professors" at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA as well as her husband Juancho Triviño, who was her "constant encourager" throughout her journey.

"He has been the one person who's enabled me to do all these things that you see me do—he's the current that drives me forward, the calm that I call home, and the steady strength that uplifts me when the waves of life become too overwhelming," Joyce said.

"My joy and gratitude overflows, not only for this achievement, but for having had the privilege of learning just how capable, loved, supported, blessed, and believed in I am through this whole process—everything being a testament to God's grace and faithfulness. All glory and honor belongs to Him," she ended.

Along with her inspiring message, Joyce also accompanied her post with pictures and videos of her university life and how she balances it with being a mother to her two children Alonso and Agnes.

She also shared a video of herself successfully defending her thesis, which appears to tackle podcasts.

Joyce began hosting as a video jockey after winning at Myx VJ Search in 2011. She later hosted various television shows on GMA Network, including The Clash.
