Joross Gamboa graduates with biblical studies degree
Learning never stops for Joross Gamboa, as he just earned a biblical studies degree.
In an Instagram post on June 7, the actor shared that he's among this year's AB Biblical Studies graduates from Global Life University in Pasig.
The 40-year-old's carousel included his portrait in a toga, photos with his wife Katz Gamboa and his batchmates, a selfie amid his fellow graduates, and videos of the ceremony that included him getting up on stage.
"Global Life University (GLU) graduates of 2025 AB Biblical Studies," Gamboa said in the caption. "Thank you, Lord. All Glory to God."
His industry colleagues—including EA Guzman, Jason Abalos, Dennis Trillo, Denise Laurel, Matt Evans, Patrick Garcia, and Juancho Trivino—congratulated him in the comments section.
Gamboa rose to fame as the second runner-up of the 2004 television reality competition show Star Circle Quest. He appeared in movies like A Very Special Love, My Amnesia Girl, Starting Over Again, The Hows of Us, Hello, Love, Goodbye, Rewind, and Hello, Love, Again as well as TV series like May Bukas Pa, FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, and FPJ's Batang Quiapo, among others.
The local star earned a mass communication degree from the Las Piñas-based Southville International School and Colleges in 2014 after 13 years of juggling his time between school and showbiz.
