Here's how you can book a tennis court at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex

Want to hone your summer skills this summer and channel your inner Alex Eala!

The Rizal Memorial Sports Complex has opened its world-standard Felicisimo Ampon Tennis Court to the public. You can reserve a court and pay for it online so that on the day of your match or practice play, all you need to do is show up. 

Here's how to do it:

1. Go to the Philippine Sports Commission website. Click on "Book now."

2. You will have to pick your sports venue first. Click on "Proceed to reservation."

3. Two choices will appear: Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila and Ultra / PhilSports Complex in Pasig. Click on "Rizal Memorial Sports Complex." Facilities in Ultra are not available for reservation yet. 

4. You will see two available venues: Tennis Center and Rizal Memorial Coliseum. Click on "Tennis Center."

5. A calendar will appear with dates indicating the number of available slots. Click on the date you want. Hurry; only a few slots are left for April.

6. Choose your preferred time slot. The courts are open to the public from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. 

From 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., the hourly rate is P600. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., it goes up to P1,000. The courts can accommodate four bookings per hour. 

The full, non-refundable payment should be made within 30 minutes of your reservation. Rebooking is allowed only once, but with enough notice, and depending on court availability. 

Once you tap your preferred slot, click on "Proceed booking."

7. It will then ask for your full name and contact details. 

Remember to wear proper tennis attire with non-marking rubber-soled court shoes. Sandals, slippers, hard- and black-soled shoes, and any footwear that may damage the court surface are not allowed. 

8. Once you submit your information and read the terms and conditions, you will be led to a QR code, which you can scan to make your payment digitally. 

9. An official receipt will be sent to your registered email address. 

10. On the day of your reservation, show up 15 minutes early.
