LOOK: Ticket prices, seat map for 'Into the Woods' revealed
Are you ready for a fairytale adventure?
Theatre Group Asia has revealed the ticket prices and seat plan for the upcoming Manila staging of Into the Woods.
Ticket prices start at P1,500 for the F Reserve and P1,800 for E Reserve, which will be situated at Balcony 2 of the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati.
For seats at Balcony 1, tickets are priced at P2,800 for D Reserve and P3,500 for C Reserve.
Meanwhile, seats in the C Reserve for P3,500, B Reserve for P4,750, and A Reserve for P5,500 are located in the loge, upper orchestra, orchestra, and box sections of the theater.
V.I.P. seats in the orchestra center cost P6,000.
There are no details yet about when you can start buying tickets, but TGA says they will be available "soon" via TicketWorld.
Premiered in 1986, Into the Woods intertwines the plots of several fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm, including Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, and Cinderella.
The local run will star Lea Salonga as the Witch, Eugene Domingo as Jack's mother, Nyoy Volante as the Baker, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante as the Baker's wife, Nic Chien as Jack, Joreen Bautista as Rapunzel, and Mark Bautista as Rapunzel's prince.
The musical is tied together by a story about a childless baker and his wife, their interaction with a witch who had cursed them, and their encounters with the fairy tale characters. It was adapted into a Disney movie in 2014.
Into the Woods will be held from Aug. 7 to 24 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati. It will have a limited engagement run of 18 performances.
