Disney fan event D23 is finally coming to Asia—here's what to expect
Disney fans, you'll want to book a flight to Singapore next year because D23, the most magical Disney fan event, is coming to Asia.
For years, the latest Disney announcements and exhibitions have always taken place at the D23 event in Anaheim, California. Asian fans—miles away from the West Coast—had to settle for watching livestreams or scrolling through online updates. Now, experiencing the magic of Disney right on their home turf is a dream come true.
The inaugural "D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event" is set to take place at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from June 25 to 27, 2027. It is a three-night celebration of storytelling, artistry, and community, focusing on taking attendees into their favorite Disney worlds, such as Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and more.
You can expect nightly showcases at the Premiere Stage, where fans can get an early look at upcoming Disney projects, see their favorite celebrities, and enjoy the best live entertainment. Each night offers something different for attendees.
The Studio Showcase is taking center stage on the first night, bringing exclusive Disney reveals, unseen footage, and maybe even a celebrity or two dropping in to say hello!
The following night, the Disney+ Showcase takes center stage, unveiling upcoming Korean and Japanese shows and featuring guest Asian creators and stars.

The celebration wraps up on the final night with Disney Hits LIVE!, a concert featuring the timeless Disney and Pixar hits presented by Broadway talents.
That’s not all, you can explore the world of your favorite franchises as the convention offers 15 immersive experiences to choose from.
D23 is also, first and foremost, a convention for fans, so the event offers opportunities for fellow Disney lovers to interact and connect not just with each other but with the creators of their beloved stories through the Storytellers Stage. If they have time, Talent Central is also the place to go to meet their favorite Disney characters and more. They can also watch some live entertainment and interactive fan activities at the Spotlight Stage.
And most importantly, no Disney event is truly one without merchandise, so guests can shop until they drop, with a first pick of exclusive releases from various Disney franchises.
