Looks like we'll be hearing Cher's iconic "As if!" after all!

Paramount+ has officially greenlit a Clueless sequel series with Alicia Silverstone set to reprise her role. Variety and Deadline reported that the project brings the classic teen franchise back home to Paramount.

“Beloved Beverly Hills icon Cher Horowitz (Silverstone) has figured out a lot: She’s successful in business and has mastered motherhood—that is, until her daughter’s high school years, and Cher finds that parenting a teenager makes her feel ‘clueless’ all over again," the logline read.

This came over a year after the project was canceled at Peacock. According to reports, it was planned to have a six-episode show and was supposed to begin production in Los Angeles in 2027.

The new Clueless TV series will be written and executive produced by Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, and Jordan Weiss, alongside Silverstone.

Inspired by Jane Austen's 1815 novel Emma, Clueless centers on Cher, a wealthy Beverly Hills teen who enjoys matchmaking and giving makeovers before learning about love, friendship, and self-awareness as her own life becomes more complicated.

The 1995 film starred Silverstone, Dash, Paul Rudd, Brittany Murphy, Stacey Dash, and Donald Faison, among others.

It spawned a TV adaptation that premiered in 1996 and ran for three seasons, with Rachel Blanchard taking on the role of Cher.
