Kris Aquino expresses excitement about coming back home to PH
Kris Aquino is happily looking forward to coming home to the Philippines after staying in the United States since 2022 for her treatment.
In a new video recently shared by her hairstylist Kimora Bernabe, the "Queen of All Media" happily did a video greeting for a certain person named Jelly.
“Hi, to the friend of Ate Kimora, Jelly. Is it Jelly, as in jelly beans or is it Jelly, as in jealous?” She quipped. “No, I’m sure Jelly, because you are generous and loving,” Kris said with all smiles.
“Ate Kimora said you gave a really great price para doon sa suot niyang earrings. Okay. Ako, naghahanap ng bracelet, pero, as you can see, super teeny tiny (ng wrist ko) so give me a good price when we go home. Happy Birthday!” she continued.
Social media users expressed their admiration for Kris in the post’s comments section, wishing for her continuous recovery.
“Thank you po sa pag post tagal po namin tong inintay ang update niya get well soon madam pa galing ka,” an Instagram user commented.
“Kris is still one of a kind her ka-kikayan is positive in all aspects. [Kris Aquino] will always be Kris. She is [an] icon,” another one wrote.
“Our good God heal you [Kris.] Thank you for this post [Kimora Bernabe],” an Instagram user also wrote.
Kris first shared her plans about coming back to the Philippines in June. Last July, her son Bimby shared a health update on her health in an interview with The Philippine STAR, saying that Kris is getting better.
“Papunta na po (sa paggaling)," he shared, though he also noted it will take "hard work and dedication."
“The medicine is hard on her. Pero alam nyo naman po—fighter si Mama. She's strong," he previously said.
He also shared that she is “coming home for good” this September or October.
Bimby went on to express his love for his mother. "She’s my world. She’s my universe. Tsaka iba talaga kapag kasama ko si Mama. I’ve seen her in her lowest of lows, in her highest of highs. And now papunta na po siya sa paggaling," he told The STAR.
Kris is battling multiple life-threatening autoimmune diseases and has been undergoing treatment at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles since June 2022.
