Kris Aquino, Boy Abunda to reunite for a TV special this October
After 11 years, the King of Talk and Queen of All Media are reuniting.
In celebration of Boy Abunda’s birthday, his former co-host and close friend Kris Aquino will be guesting for a two-part special on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, airing Oct. 28 and 29.
"Kris, yes, she is part of the celebration. After 11 years, we did over two hours of spirited conversation. Sumali pa si Bimb," Abunda said during a press conference on Wednesday.
The host said Aquino talked about her health, money, her children, and work, among others. Abunda also noted that Aquino talked about love "lengthly."
"She's very happy, very grateful and she talked about the importance of trust," he said.
He shared that when he asked what will make Aquino come back to television, the former host said, "'I will only come back to the television with the King,'" referring to Abunda.

"What you will see in our interview is the Kris Aquino that we all missed. The Kris that is happy and full of life, the Kris who doesn't hide anything, and the Kris that is so true," Abunda said.
Abunda and Aquino have presented several talk shows together during their expansive career in the entertainment industry. These include The Buzz, Aquino & Abunda Tonight, Startalk, and Boy & Kris.
In 2023, Aquino, who recently made a showbiz comeback while continuing her medical treatment, previously reunited with Abunda in California during her stay there for treatment. The year after, the she gave a video call interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda to share a public update on her health.
Earlier this year, Abunda revealed that he had visited Aquino at her home to celebrate her 55th birthday.
