Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his estranged wife Kate Major.
Citing a spokesperson for the Harris County Sherrif’s Office, Page Six reported that Michael was charged with “continuous violence against the family.” He was taken into custody in Texas last weekend.
His mugshot was also shared by TMZ.
Kate reportedly alerted authorities when she was at a doctor’s appointment and Michael was in the parking lot of the same establishment.
Kate, who was confirmed to have some bruises, then submitted a report to them and alleged that Michael “flipped her out of a chair a few days before,” per Page Six.
Michael is now being held on a $30,000 bond.
Kate and Michael got married in 2014. The former filed for divorce and asked for full custody of their sons Landon and Logan four years later.
Lindsay is Michael’s daughter with his former wife Dina Lohan. They were married from 1985 to 2007. Aside from Lindsay, they share three other children: Aliana, Michael, and Dakota.
