Kylie Jenner denies getting surgery on her 'whole face': 'I've always loved myself'

Kylie Jenner shut down rumors that she had plastic surgery on her "whole face" as she opened up about learning to embrace herself for who she is.

In the July 20 episode of The Kardashians, the American socialite and entrepreneur sat down with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney to talk about the beauty standards of society and how people tend to "instill insecurities" in others because of them.

“I went through that stage too,” the Kylie Cosmetics owner admitted, adding: “I feel like I’m in a better place but other people can instill insecurities in you.”

The 25-year-old mom-of-two went on to talk about her confidence and embracing her own self.

“We all have our little things, so it’s normal to be insecure sometimes, but I always just remember being the most confident kid in the room,” she said. “I always loved myself—I still love myself.”

She then debunked misconceptions about her, including her being an “insecure child” and getting plastic surgery on her whole face.

“One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was like this insecure child, and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false, I’ve only gotten fillers,” she said.

“I feel like I don’t want that to be a part of my story. I will always want everyone to just love themselves,” she added.

Kylie first got temporary lip fillers in 2015, saying that her small lips made her feel insecure about herself. She opened up about it again in the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reunion in 2021, sharing that it sparked her love for makeup.

"I had really small lips, and I didn't ever think about it until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me, 'Oh my God, you're such a good kisser, but you have such small lips,' or something like that," she said. "From then on, I felt unkissable."

“I took that really hard. Just when a guy you like says that, I don’t know—it just really affected me,” she explained at the time. “I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty.”
