'KUWTK' Reunion: Kylie Jenner 'didn't feel desirable' with her lips
It's no secret that Kylie Jenner has changed a lot over the past years, and that her beauty transformation has become the talk of the town. After years of keeping her lips sealed, the reality star finally speaks out about her biggest insecurity: her lips.
The makeup mogul opened up to host Andy Cohen about her insecurity about her lips, which later on inspired her to create her billion-dollar company, Kylie Cosmetics.
At the recent Keeping Up with the Kardashians reunion, which aired yesterday June 18, Jenner admitted that her "love for makeup started with my insecurity with my lips."
"I had really small lips, and I didn't ever think about it until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me, 'Oh my God, you're such a good kisser, but you have such small lips,' or something like that," the 23-year-old said. "From then on, I felt unkissable."
“I took that really hard. Just when a guy you like says that, I don’t know — it just really affected me,” she explained. “I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty.”
Since then, she "got an obsession with makeup" and "would overline my lips and it just made me feel confident." Eventually though, she gave up with lip liners and thought she needed to get her lips done.
But now, Jenner said she doesn't think about it much about her lips.
Previously, she admitted to having lip fillers in one of the episodes of KUWTK in season 10.
"I have temporary lip fillers. It's just an insecurity of mine, and it's what I wanted to do. I'm just not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet, because everyone always picks us apart," she said during the confessional. "I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything."
