Tom Holland gets dressed and undressed in Prada’s newest campaign
Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland fronts Italian fashion house Prada to showcase its Spring/Summer 2022 Menswear Collection (SS22).
The collection by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons taps Holland as an incarnation of today’s Prada man because of his refined action hero performances.
“In a re-contextualizing of a figure world-renown for his action hero roles, Holland here becomes an embodiment of today's Prada man,” Prada said.
“The power of acting is to draw on a well of personal experience to convey a mood, emotion and feeling that, while fiction, borrows its fact from the performer’s own humanity“These images cement minute actions and reactions, close and gentle moments - the rapport between garment and body, gestures of dressing and undressing alive within the imagery. Instead of a cinematic panorama, Holland is portrayed via portraits, intimate and real.”
In the said latest campaign, the 25-year-old Spider-Man actor wears pieces from the SS22 collection including a graphic print shirt, a thick knit cardigan, and a striking red leather jacket, beach-ready, and nautical-themed shirt. Prada also shared a “Dress. Undress.” video where Holland showcases more pieces from the said collection.
