Beat poverty through combat sports

The Underground Battle Mixed Martial Arts (UGB MMA) will hold the “Combat Sports Festival: Beating Up Poverty” conference and exhibit from Nov. 9 to 13, at SMX Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall; and “Fight Day” on Nov. 13, 1 to 11 p.m. at Metrotent Metrowalk, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

All fights will be available and accessible to watch in all provincial SM and Robinsons' outlets. The announcement was made during the event launch held last Sept. 30 at Hard Rock Café, Makati. Guests included Gov. Chavit Singson and Chelsey Singson.

UGBMMA Combat Sport Festival is a series of fun fight conferences that aim to raise funds for its advocacy, which is to beat poverty in the country. Proceeds will go to the Deep Well Project for Aetas in Bamban Tarlac.

In collaboration with Hon. Gov. Chavit Singson, the Combat Sport Festival also showcases Filipino talent, perseverance and dreams. This exhilirating sports festival will feature combats in Boxing, Muay Thai, Bare Knuckle Karate, No-Gi BJJ, Juego Todo and MMA.
