LANY cancels November Davao show due to 'safety concerns and production issues'
LANY’s "soft" tour will not be coming to Davao anymore.
Concert organizer Live Nation Philippines has announced the cancellation of the Davao show, scheduled for Nov. 14, amidst “safety concerns and production issues.” The Davao concert at the Crocodile Park Concert Grounds was supposed to close the band’s ‘soft’ era in the country.
Concertgoers are advised to check their email inboxes for more information regarding the event. They also have the option to use the credits toward the band’s Nov. 7 show in Manila.
If you are unable to see LANY on a different date, you may request a refund through the SM Tickets refund portal.
Another option is by emailing SM Tickets at customercare@smtickets.com. The email must use the subject line: “Refund Request: LANY: soft world tour in Davao.”
The SM Tickets' FAQ page may also answer questions about ticket refunds and reversals.

LANY first announced their Philippine tour just this March. Its first stop would be in Cebu at SM Seaside Cebu Arena on Nov. 6, and then on a later date on Nov. 12. They will also hold a two-night show at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan from Nov. 7 to 8.
Tickets for the Cebu shows are still up for grabs, while only ticket upgrades are the applicable purchases for the Manila shows.
The “soft” tour marks LANY’s sixth time performing in the Philippines, having first visited in 2017 for Wanderland. They held their solo concert in 2018 at the Araneta Coliseum, and again in 2019 and 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Their previous concert in the country, “A Beautiful Blur”, was held in 2024, and they performed at the Philippine Arena and Waterfront Cebu Hotel & Casino.
The band currently consists of vocalist Paul Klein and drummer Jake Gloss, with former keyboardist Les Priest exiting in 2022. They are known for their synth-heavy and melancholy-infused hits, including Malibu Nights, ILYSB, and more.
