The Philippine STAR Media Group believes in the power of SMEs to help in nation-building. And so, STAR strives to support these companies through its "Nakakalocal: Love Local, Go Global" project.

Nakakalocal is a yearlong program that encourages more Filipinos to buy local by putting a spotlight on its partner SME brands. It also celebrates the creativity of Filipino craftsmanship through stories that highlight the ingenuity of proudly Filipino-made products.

Lastly, it provides opportunities for SMEs to elevate their businesses through learning opportunities in enriching events
