Valle Verde Country Club (VVCC), a premier sports club located at Ortigas Center, recently celebrated its 48th anniversary in grand style. The festivities took place on June 24 at the newly renovated Rizal Grand Ballroom, which was unveiled to the public on Aug. 19, 2022.
Members of VVCC were treated to an evening of entertainment, featuring captivating performances by Side A Band and DJ Ornusa Cadness. To show their appreciation, the club generously hosted a celebration for members. The choice to host this event at the Rizal Grand Ballroom showcases the club's commitment to establishing it as the premier venue of choice at Ortigas Center.
Rodolfo Enrico “Ritchie” Lozada, president and general manager of VVCC, eagerly shared his thoughts on the momentous celebrations. When asked about the lineup of activities, Lozada explained, "We wanted to give back to our members who have been very supportive, and hosting a free performance by Side A Band in the newly renovated Rizal Grand Ballroom was a perfect way to show our gratitude. Our aim is for the ballroom to become the primary venue of choice at Ortigas Center, and this anniversary event was an excellent opportunity to showcase its elegance and versatility as it can accommodate up to 800 pax.”
Reflecting on the most significant milestones of VVCC's journey, Lozada stated, "One of our proudest achievements is witnessing our members return to patronize the club. Additionally, reaching the remarkable milestone of P 1,180,000 value per regular proprietary share. Furthermore, we have enhanced our culinary offerings to provide an even more exceptional dining experience. Our new establishments, such as Kansha Japanese Dining and the Chinese Corner, continue to delight our members with their authentic flavors. Additionally, we have elevated our club favorites and special Sunday lunch buffet to new heights, giving our members an array of options to indulge in."
Looking ahead to the future, Valle Verde Country Club has exciting plans in store for its members. Lozada shared, "In the coming months, we aim to renovate the men's and women's lockers to provide enhanced convenience and comfort for our valued members. Additionally, we have plans to renovate our function rooms, creating spaces that will be not only aesthetically pleasing but also conducive for corporate meetings and events."
"In line with our commitment to providing exceptional recreational experiences, we are considering the addition of virtual golf and introducing new sports like pickleball or paddle tennis. These exciting additions will broaden our members' options and offer them fresh and engaging activities to enjoy,” he added. “ Furthermore, we will continue to improve our banquet services, ensuring that every event held at Valle Verde Country Club is a truly memorable occasion. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our sports facilities, we have plans to establish an indoor wooden basketball court, further elevating the sporting opportunities available to our members."
