Joseph Gordon-Levitt is once again featuring the beauty of the Philippines in an upcoming YouTube show to be produced by his online collaborative platform, HitRecord.

In a Facebook post today, Feb. 18, the American actor and filmmaker asked his Filipino followers to submit a photo showcasing the country’s environment on HitRecord’s website.

“Hello my Filipino friends! I'm making a new YouTube show and you're all invited to be a part of it,” he wrote alongside a photo of Filipino kids having fun in the streets.

While the 500 Days of Summer star did not spill other details about the webisode, HitRecord announced on its website that it is now working on the second season of its Emmy Award-winning YouTube collaborative series, Create Together.

The new chapter will consist of six 10-minute episodes spotlighting nature or the natural world, with the first episode dropping around Earth Day, April 22.

Contributing artists whose works were included in the finished episodes will be given not only bragging rights but also payment  based on “their contribution’s impact with the final piece.”

Levitt and his team have since been fond of featuring the photos, videos, stories, and music of people in various parts of the world in his short films. He first tapped the Filipino online community on August 14 last year, when he asked netizens to write one to two sentences related to a photo of a boat floating on the sea of Donsol in Sorsogon.

Among his latest call for entries was one he posted on Dec. 22 last year, where he asked his followers to describe a photo of the traffic jam on EDSA.

Another was on Jan. 15 this year, where Levitt likewise asked netizens to create a super-short story on the photo of a man and his dogs pushing a mobile store in Quezon City.

Since then, the actor-entrepreneur has released two short films titled “The Beauty of the Philippines” and “The Beaches of the Philippines” showcasing the scenic tourist spots around the country.
