Nintendo eShop, Switch Online to go live in PH on Nov. 10
Heads up, Filipino gamers! Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Switch Online are set to launch in the Philippines on Nov. 10.
This means Pinoy users can soon purchase and download games and downloadable content for their Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles without having to change regions.
Additionally, they can subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online to enjoy online battles and cooperative play.
Currently, Pinoys can buy physical copies of games at different shops.
With the rollout of the services to the Philippines, games and other content will be displayed in local prices instead of international currency.
Details about the local launch are still sparse, and Nintendo has yet to reveal pricing for Nintendo Switch Online in the Philippines. In the US, however, the subscription starts at $19.99 (P1,300) per year for an individual user.

The rollout comes four years after Nintendo unveiled its official website for gamers in the Philippines in February 2022. The site posts updates about consoles, game software, and characters from popular franchises like Super Mario.
The launch also arrives ahead of the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo Switch 2 on Nov. 5.
