Ex-PBB housemate and transman Jesi Corcuera expecting first child
Transgender man Jesi Cocuera is expecting his first baby!
On Instagram, the StarStruck alum wrote a lengthy letter, alongside photos from his maternity shoot, while narrating his pregnancy journey.
According to him, it was difficult to come up with the caption, especially because not everyone would relate to his situation.
"2018 nung simulan kong planuhing magkaroon ng anak. Pero that time, maraming struggles, lalo na financially and hindi rin naman biro ang gastos sa unang plano kong mag-IVF," Jesi wrote.
Jesi said his girlfriend Camille and her kids inspired him to have a family.
He came to this revelation when he took on the role of a father figure to his partner's children following their six-year split.
"Naisip kong parang sign na yata ito ni Lord sakin. Baka ito yung warm-up Niya para sakin kung paano ako magiging magulang soon. Sa pagtayo ko bilang tatay ng mga anak ni Cams, maraming naging realizations. Isa na dun yung baka may chance pa pala akong magkaroon ng sarili kong anak."
He continued, "Fast forward ngayong taon, di ko in-expect na mabubuo siya through my last option na ako ang magdadala pero sobrang thankful ako na pinagkaloob ito ng Diyos sa akin."
The PBB alum also urged the public not to judge him. He also fondly called his first child Ninja.
"Hindi naging madali ang prosesong ito para sa akin kaya sana hindi niyo rin ganun kadaling husgahan kung anong nakikita niyo ngayon."
"Simple lang naman ang gusto ko, yung magkaroon ng matatawag kong sariling akin. Alam kong may mga anak akong inako kay Cams at walang mababago dun sa pagdating ni “Ninja” (nickname ng baby ko Hahaha). Sa lahat ng desisyon ko sa buhay, malaki ang naging parte ng mga bata at ni Cams sa kung ano ako ngayon"
He concluded, "Samahan niyo kami sa bagong journey ng buhay kong ito. At sana kapulutan ng aral at inspirasyon ng marami."
In 2021, Jesi Corcuera underwent top surgery to symbolize his freedom and way to becoming his most authentic self.
Jesi joined PBB back in 2016 as a housemate during its "Lucky Season 7," where he had the moniker "Transman of the House ng Cavite."
He is now a YouTube vlogger with over 270,000 subscribers. He regularly shares life updates, challenges, and games with his partner, Camille Corcuera.
