Content creator Zeinab Harake and her husband basketball player Bobby Ray Parks Jr. have completed the adoption process for Harake's children Lucas, 9, and Bia, 5.

In Harake's latest vlog uploaded on Wednesday, Nov. 4, the couple recounted the lengthy and emotional adoption process.

"Today, finally, finally, after a long time of process, pupunta tayo ng NACC kasama ng mga bata dahil legally Parks na kaming tatlo," said Harake.

She added that in her life today, her sole dream is no longer to have material things.

"Ang pinakapangarap ko talaga, 'yung goal ko sa life ko is magkaroon kami ng birth certificate na pare-parehas kami ng apelyido. And then Daddy Ray came. Binaba galing sa langit," Harake continued.

"Instrument lang naman ako ni God," Parks said. "It takes a wonderful woman such as yourself to allow me to lead and to be the head of the family, to lead us in the right way."

Harake expressed her gratitude to Parks for embracing not just herself but both her kids, as well.

"Hindi lang ako 'yung pinakasalan niya; pati 'yung mga bata," she said.

When Harake was pregnant with her daughter Bia, whom she shares with her former partner Skusta Clee, she began the adoption process for Lucas. But since the Department of Social Welfare and Development has a minimum age limit of 25 for adoptive parents, Harake couldn't push through with the adoption as she was just 22 then.

She and Parks pursued the pending adoption for both Lucas and Bia before they got married in 2025, going through the required home visits with social workers, as well as the psychological and medical tests.

"Protective din siya for the child. More than anything, pamana or identity nila, it's good na they have this sense of security na we're one unit, we're one family," Parks said.

Aside from sharing their happy family news, Harake and Parks said they decided to make the latest vlog to help other people considering adoption.

"Itong vlog na 'to, hindi lang din 'to para sa family namin. But sana makatok natin 'yung government natin na dagdagan 'yung mga social workers sa iba't ibang municipality," Harake said.

"They have the heart naman talaga to help. Kailangan lang talaga ng tulong," added Parks.

Harake and Parks announced their relationship in 2023. Parks proposed to Harake in July 2024, while the latter also made her own proposal to him two months later.

They tied the knot in Tagaytay in June 2025.
