While these celebrations are certainly something to look forward to, there's one familiar dilemma that comes with every invitation: figuring out what to wear.
No matter how much you want to look your best for every occasion, buying a brand-new outfit for each party or wedding can quickly take a toll on your wallet. Plus, how many times will you actually wear that glittery dress or formal suit again?
Thankfully, you don't have to splurge on a whole new wardrobe just to show up in style, as clothing rentals let you wear gorgeous outfits for a fraction of their retail price.
If you're looking for something special to wear this season, here are some places where you can rent outfits for parties and weddings this holiday season:

Rentarela has plenty of options to choose from for designer dresses. The Makati-based rental boutique carries more than 1,700 designer styles, including evening gowns, cocktail dresses, wedding guest outfits, among others.
Its collection features both local and international labels, such as Zimmermann, Aje, V. Chapman, Mac Duggal, PatBO, Bronx and Banco, and more. You can browse pieces by designer, occasion, color, length, and style, making it easier to find an outfit that suits your event.
To rent, simply browse the website, select your preferred dress and rental dates, and complete your reservation online. Rental periods are available for four, eight, 12, or 14 days.
If you'd rather try on your choices first, you can book a fitting at its showroom at 9247C Dita Street, San Antonio Village, Makati City.
Vestido Manila
Vestido Manila's collection includes outfits for weddings, cocktail parties, black-tie events, garden celebrations, and Filipiniana looks.
Renting is done through their website, where you can select your preferred pieces and book a standard four-day rental period. If you need the outfit for longer, the period can also be extended upon request.
A late-return fee of P1,000 a day will be charged unless they are informed 24 hours before the rental period expires.
They offer delivery within select Metro Manila areas at the following flat rates (inclusive of delivery and return):
- P180 – Makati, Mandaluyong, and Bonifacio Global City (BGC)
- P250 – Pasig, San Juan, Taguig, and Manila
- P400 – Quezon City, Alabang, Parañaque, Pasay, and Las Piñas
For deliveries to Rizal, Antipolo, Marikina, and other areas outside our delivery coverage, customers will need to arrange their own courier or delivery service.
La Oriental
La Oriental also has an extensive online collection of pieces available for rent.
Its catalog features more than 1,000 styles, including dresses, gowns, tops, skirts, sets, and accessories, with options in different colors, silhouettes, and designs. It carries pieces from a range of labels, including Lane Ci, Cassie, Meiyi, Kisserine, and more.
To place an order, take a screenshot of the item you wish to rent from their website catalog and send it to them via Instagram direct message. Your order will only be confirmed once payment has been made and the payment receipt has been sent to them.
The standard rental period is three days, covering the delivery day, event day, and return day. Extensions may be requested, subject to availability and an additional fee. Failure to notify them will result in a late-return fee of P700 per day.
Customers can also arrange an in-person fitting at their store in San Miguel, Manila, or request a home fitting.

If you need a little red carpet moment without the extravagant price tag, Aecia is another rental shop that makes that possible.
Their offerings include full-length dresses, ball gowns, maxi and mini dresses, and Filipiñianas. You can browse different categories depending on the occasion, such as The Honored Guest for weddings and garden parties, Evening Soirée for black-tie events and galas, and Majestic Ballroom for debuts and graduation balls.
Rental prices currently range from around P1,590 to P8,990, depending on the design.
To book, browse the website, choose your preferred piece and size, select your rental dates, and complete your reservation. Afterwards, send a screenshot of the proof of payment via their Instagram or Facebook. A confirmation message will then be sent to you.

You can also visit Aecia's studio on the third floor of R Square Mall along Taft Avenue in Malate, Manila, if you'd rather try on your options before committing. All fittings entail a P500 fitting fee, consumable upon renting an item.
