Transman Jesi Corcuera reveals face and name of baby girl: 'You are my greatest blessing'
Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate and transman Jesi Corcuera gave a first glimpse of his adorable baby girl.
On his Instagram account, Jesi shared pictures of his bundle of joy all wrapped up in her cozy blanket in the middle of a Christmas wreath. He also included a close-up picture of his baby's hand as well as a snap of himself with his newborn.
In the caption, he also revealed the name of his little one. "Welcome to the world, Calia Elle (baby Ninja)!"
"My life will never be the same. You are my greatest blessing," he said.
The Starstruck alum first revealed that he welcomed his first child on Dec. 11 as he shared a quick video of his baby girl drinking milk on Instagram.
Jesi announced that he was pregnant in October with photos from his maternity shoot. He said the love of his life, Camille, and her kids inspired him to start a family.
"Hindi naging madali ang prosesong ito para sa akin kaya sana hindi niyo rin ganun kadaling husgahan kung anong nakikita niyo ngayon," Jesi said of his pregnancy journey.
"Simple lang naman ang gusto ko, yung magkaroon ng matatawag kong sariling akin. Alam kong may mga anak akong inako kay Cams at walang mababago dun sa pagdating ni 'Ninja' (nickname ng baby ko Hahaha). Sa lahat ng desisyon ko sa buhay, malaki ang naging parte ng mga bata at ni Cams sa kung ano ako ngayon," he said.
After discussing with Camille his desire to have a child of his own, they began to research on artificial insemination (AI), where a doctor inserts sperm directly into a woman's reproductive tract.
"Napunta ako sa option na, sige ako na lang ang magcacarry, kasi si AI, kakailanganin ko lang si donor na sperm para iinject sa akin kasi nasa loob ko naman na si egg eh, so mas madali siya compared sa IVF," Jesi explained in an interview with Julius Babao on his YouTube channel.
He joined an online page to find the nurse who helped with the procedure as well as the donor.
Jesi underwent top surgery in 2021. He has a YouTube channel where he shares life updates, challenges, and games with his partner.
