Sophie Albert gets candid on 'love-hate' relationship with breastfeeding after welcoming second baby
Sophie Albert is mulling over the challenges of being a mom a month after she welcomed her second child with her husband Vin Abrenica.
On her Instagram stories, the actress posted a picture of herself cradling her newborn named Amara Kristina, appearing to have just finished breastfeeding her.
Sophie gushed about how Amara is now "four weeks old today" and "how much she's grown" before taking the time to reflect on the difficulties of breastfeeding.
"A little pat on the back for surviving four weeks of this love-hate relationship with breastfeeding," she wrote.
"Every day brings its own challenges and I often think about quitting. Yet, here we are still hanging on—one day at a time. Laban!" she continued.
Sophie and Vin announced that they welcomed a new addition to their family in November, highlighting how their "hearts are overflowing" after spending the first days with their sweet girl.
The couple revealed that they were expecting a second child in July as Sophie shared family photos where she gave a look at her growing baby bump. In September, they found out that they were having a girl.
Sophie and Vin got married in January last year after a decade of being together.
They crossed paths in 2012 via a reality talent search show called Artista Academy. They got engaged in December 2020 and moved in together in 2021. They were blessed with their first daughter, Avianna Celeste, in March 2021.
Sophie started her career as a commercial and print ad model before becoming an actress, while Vin is best known for his portrayals in various ABS-CBN shows such as Wildflower, A Soldier's Heart, and Past, Present, Perfect?, among others.
