Jennylyn Mercado stole our hearts when she shared her gorgeous maternity shoot photos.
Donned in a burgundy flowy dress, the mom-to-be looked absolutely breathtaking in the shots taken by celebrity photographer, BJ Pascual. Her look was completed by makeup artist Mikka Marcaida and hairstylist Raymond Santiago.
"Maternity shoot sneak peek," the actress wrote.
A number of Jen's celebrity friends such as Angel Locsin, Carla Abellana, and Paolo Ballesteros, have since sent their awe and delight at the shoot.
Now, behind-the-scenes shots have surfaced of the magical floral set designed by Justine Arcega-Bumanlag.
In the posts from Justine's Instagram, she shared how they managed to pull off the actress' perfectly placed hair and dress with the matching wind effect—good 'ol manpower, of course!
The glowing actress beamed as her scarf was whipped by crew members as Pascual kept his camera steady.
Justine also shared the vision behind the floral set:
"Jennylyn’s painterly photo as captured by BJ was heavily inspired by the French Artist Ingres for his portraits and Dutch Artist Velest for his flower still life paintings," Justine wrote.
"To create a set for this vision, we prepared a 16ft wall backdrop in limewash, assorted apple boxes draped with satin fabric and florals I arranged as inspired by Verlest’s floral paintings."
In another video, Justine shared how the gigantic 16-foot set was lifted from the ground to create the perfect latte-colored backdrop.
Meanwhile, Jen shared that she will share more photos and on-set details via BJ Pascual's YouTube channel on April 9, 7 PM.
Jennylyn and Dennis Trillo shared in October 2021 that they are having a baby girl after years of being together. They got married in a civil wedding shortly after.
