Children aged 17 and below can ride the LRT-2 and MRT-3 for free on Nov. 4 in celebration of National Children’s Month.

The Light Rail Transit Authority and the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 will offer free rides during the morning and evening rush hours as part of the observance of the 34th National Children’s Month.

The free rides will be available from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at all LRT-2 and MRT-3 stations on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

The initiative supports the Council for the Welfare of Children, which promotes children’s rights and welfare. November is observed as National Children’s Month under Republic Act No. 10661.

The LRT-2 runs between Recto Station in Manila and Antipolo Station in Rizal, while the MRT-3 runs along EDSA, connecting North Avenue in Quezon City and Taft Avenue in Pasay City.
