Krishnah Gravidez makes it to quarterfinals of Miss World 2025 talent competition
The Philippines' Krishnah Gravidez is proving that she is a strong contender for the Miss World 2025 crown as she has now made it to the quarterfinals of the pageant's talent competition.
On their social media pages, the Miss World organization revealed the candidates from each continental region who have secured their spot in the second round of the talent competition held on May 19.
Gravidez was among the quarterfinalists in the Asia and Oceania region. The rest include Australia, Armenia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Kazakhstan, People's Republic of China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar.
Other delegates came from the Americas and Caribbean, Africa, and Europe.
Gravidez previously made it to the top 8 finalists for Asia and Oceania and top 2 overall in the Badminton Sports Challenge in the recently concluded Miss World Sports Challenge 2025 held at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad, India.
The 72nd edition of the international pageant has now released their official format, where 10 outstanding contestants from each continental region—Africa, Americas & Caribbean, Asia & Oceania, and Europe, including the fast-track winners—will advance to the quarterfinals out of the 108 delegates.
The judges will select a top five contender from each continental region. This set of beauty queens will be narrowed down to the top 2, to have one winner and one runner-up in every region.
To determine the pageant's top four finalists, the top two candidates from each region will compete to have one continental winner, who will also be the top 4 overall finalists. The judges will then vote to crown the 72nd Miss World title holder, followed by first, second, and third runners-up.
The first runner-up in the winner's continent will be promoted to a continental winner.
The coronation night will be held on May 31 at the HITEX Convention Center in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, where the reigning queen, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic, will crown her successor.
Should Gravidez win, she will be the second Filipina to be crowned Miss World after Megan Young in 2013.
