Alex Gonzaga wrote a heartfelt message to her husband, Mikee Morada, following their recent miscarriage.

In a recent YouTube video, Alex shared details of her birthday celebration on Jan. 16. Her festivities included a family dinner and a visit to Lipa City Hospital the following day to donate goods to mothers and newborns.

However, the video also revealed she had been hospitalized a week earlier, on Jan. 9. The actress sadly shared that she had experienced another miscarriage with a short note for her husband.

"Dearest Mikee, I'm so sorry for our loss," she started. "The little miracle we had will always stay with us. Let's keep believing. By God's grace, we will have the family we have always prayed for. Love, Catherine," she said.

In another Instagram post, Alex shared a clip of Mikee dancing while she was in the hospital bed. The caption read, "My favorite memory is when my husband made sure I was happy before my medical procedure.

Meanwhile, Mikee opened up to his sister-in-law Toni Gonzaga for her YouTube vlog, detailing the pregnancy.

"To be honest, kami ni Catherine, noong nalaman namin na pregnant siya, hindi namin talaga akalain, wala kaming plano,” he said. “Ang plano namin, baka posibleng mag-prepare muna ng katawan, IVF (in vitro fertilization), pero naturally pa rin, gusto naming subukan,” he added.

However, during their third visit, it was discovered that Alex's pregnancy was complicated. Seeking a second opinion, they consulted another gynecologist.

The ultrasound revealed a fetal heartbeat, but it was lower than usual.

"Tinry namin habulin. Baka ma-save pa 'yung baby, ginawa namin lahat,” Morada said.

They received the bad news on Dec. 28.

"Hindi ko makakalimutan ‘yun," he said. "Nakita na namin agad ‘yung embryo, pero wala na siyang heartbeat."

Alex had a miscarriage in 2021 and 2023.

The TV host announced in January 2021 that they got married in November 2020.
