BINI’s Gwen Apuli is appealing to their fans to respect their privacy and personal space after some apparently knocked on their doors just to ask for photos.

The P-pop star took to her X account on Wednesday, Aug. 14 to express her dismay and remind fans of their boundaries.

“Nakakalungkot, palala na [nang] palala,” she began on the post.

“I really hope everyone respect people’s privacy, ‘yung personal time we’re trying to adjust eh kase wala ganon na talaga, pero kahit privacy na lang,” she added.

Gwen stressed that while they appreciate their fans’ love and support and they try their best to grant all the photo requests, their personal space should still be respected.

"Please not to the point you’ll go knock [on] our rooms just for [a] picture. Thank you,” she continued.

Her co-members, Maloi Ricalde and Aiah Arceta, who also raised the same concern early in July, echoed the sentiments.

“Rest is essential,” Maloi wrote in her Quote post

For her part, Aiah wrote, “This is what I had been talking about before.”

She added: “We genuinely care for and appreciate everyone who supports us. However, at the end of the day, tao lang din kami and need din namin ng personal time and space para makapag recharge. Recharged bini girlies = renewed energy and positive spirit that can radiate to everyone else.”

She went on to thank fans who are very respectful of their space and are nice when asking for a photo.

The group’s manager, Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi has previously asked the fans to respect the members’ privacy after Maloi and Aiah’s uncomfortable public encounters during their break after their sold-out concerts in June.
