Marian Rivera is bursting with joy now that she and Heart Evangelista have buried the hatchet and are now on their way to having a beautiful friendship.

For the first time since they followed each other on Instagram, Marian shared her thoughts about making amends with Heart—who she had a rumored feud with for years—as she spoke with the press during the launch of her newest endorsement.

"Ang naramdaman ko, talagang my heart is happy," the Kapuso actress said, adding that she believes their rekindled relationship comes from "God's perfect time."

"Parang sa buhay natin ngayon, parang mas masarap na peaceful ka at masaya ka araw-araw, na wala kang iniiwasan. And sabi ko nga, mabuti talaga ang Diyos, bibigay niya talaga sa'yo 'yung makakabuti para sa'yo," she continued.

Marian shared that she and Heart have been maintaining contact since they decided to end their rift, but opted to keep what they've talked about private.

"Nakakatuwa na may mga conversation kami, na hanggang ngayon may communication kami. So, alam mo 'yun, God is good," she said.

But does this pave the way for a long overdue collaboration between them again?

"Collab? Parang parehas yata kami na hindi na natutulog," Marian jokingly answered.

Nevertheless, she expressed her excitement at getting to see Heart again in person.

Before this, Heart also spoke about her rekindled friendship with Marian and revealed where her relationship stands with the GMA artist.

"Marian and I, we've always liked each other because real queens support each other. She has a very strong character but I really appreciate her kindness and just her heart," Heart said.

She continued, "Sometimes, it's not the person who is our real enemy, it's the people around that make it worse. So I'm happy. I think for me what's important, in the real world, we're okay."

News of the two actresses' reconciliation came after they followed each other on Instagram.

Marian and Heart last shared a project through the 2011 comedy film Temptation Island, in which they starred with Rufa Mae Quinto, Lovi Poe, and Solenn Heussaff. It was in this year that rumors of a rift between them started circulating, brought about by how the two of them expressed interest in getting paired with each other's partners.

At the time, Heart was in a relationship with Daniel Matsunaga, while Marian was dating her now-husband Dingdong Dantes.
