Vice Ganda has a new fur baby to fill her heart after his previous pet passed away.

As she was unboxing his Labubu collection in a new YouTube vlog, the It's Showtime host introduced her new Chai poodle, which her good friend Angel Locsin and her husband Neil Arce gave him to help her cope with the death of her beloved Chow Chow, Chip In, a few months ago.

Kasi when Chip In passed on, sobra akong lungkot.

Vice revealed that she still hasn't thought of a name for the newest addition to her family but then pondered whether she could name it "Zimeme" after the Labubu character Zimomo, the leader of the adorable elves.

The actor and comedian then went to his poodle to show her Zimomo, whose fur is similar in color to the dog.

Ikaw na lang si Zimomo?" she asked as her fur baby was excitedly jumping and wagging its tail.

Vice mourned the death of her first fur baby in August earlier this year. In a tribute posted on her social media accounts, the local star described the dog as her "source of joy" whenever she was down.

"You made me look forward to coming home from a very exhausting day. You stayed beside me when I was lonely. You listened to me when I was upset. You kissed me when I was crying," she wrote.

"You were my baby. My family. My true friend. You gave me so much love. And I loved you with all my heart. I thank God for you," she ended.

Meanwhile, Angel has been on a hiatus from both her showbiz career and social media since 2022. Her last projects were a cameo appearance in the 2020 film Four Sisters Before the Wedding as well as hosting the public service show Iba Yan in the same year.
