The lone Miss World winner from the Philippines to date will co-host the upcoming event with Indian filmmaker and TV personality Karan Johar.

The coronation night is set to take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India on March 9, 7:30 p.m. (10:30 p.m. Philippine time).

PH bet Gwendolyne Fourniol is vying to win the second blue crown for the country. She's among the Top 23 talent semifinalists and Top 25 finalists of Miss World's Head-to-Head Challenge, where she impressed the jury with her speech that put a spotlight on education as part of her Beauty With A Purpose advocacy.

Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the upcoming pageant, two years after winning the highly coveted title during its previous edition held in Puerto Rico.
