‘Medyo nagkamali ako doon’: Boss Toyo regrets declining Daniel Padilla's sports car
Jayson Luzadas, a.k.a. Boss Toyo, bared that he wished he had bought Daniel Padilla's sports car.
Earlier in January, the entrepreneur was offered the actor's Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 by F2A cars. The two parties failed to reach a deal as Luzadas could only go as high as P5.8 million.
In an interview with ABS-CBN PUSH, Boss Toyo admitted that he was wrong to decline the offer but reasoned out that he can’t always afford to buy all the items brought to him on Pinoy Pawnstars.
"Medyo nagkamali ako dun. Sayang, kikita sana ako. Kasi nga malaki 'yung puhunan, kasi hindi ko rin naman kaya bilhin lahat," he said.
The entrepreneur also said that he was into cars which could make it hard for him to make a profit off of it. He further revealed that there was a negotiation where he offered a maximum of P5.8 million to the dealer, but they were not able to compromise.
According to F2A Cars' Franz Akeen Aldover, Daniel opted to sell his sports car because he grew out of it.
“Siguro boss, sawa na, retired na,” he said in January.
The car was reportedly shared between Daniel and his former girlfriend and love team, Kathryn Bernardo. The couple broke up in November 2023 after dating for 11 years.
Weeks after the negotiation between the dealer and Boss Toyo, the car was sold to a Pampanga-based buyer.
