Julia Barretto hopes to finish her studies abroad before the age of 30
Julia Barretto wants to continue her studies before reaching the age of 30.
During the press conference for her film Will You Be My Ex?, the 26-year-old actress shared that she is inspired by her siblings Claudia and Leon and wants to go back to school.
"Yung mga kapatid ko kasi si Claui, kaka-finish lang sa Ateneo siya last year. Si Leon is third year. He’s taking up business marketing. So, naririnig ko yung college stories nila and I’m just dreaming for the day na ma-experience ko rin," said Julia.
She furthered that she aims to study abroad and experience college life, meeting new friends and professors.
Still holding to that dream up to this day, Julia is eager to find the time to pursue it.
"I think yun ang pinakagusto ko talagang gawin ngayon. If makaka-find ako ng perfect way na huwag magsabay yung shooting at saka yung pag-aaral, ang perfect na talaga ng lahat,” she said.
In 2022, Julia told PhilSTAR L!fe that she wants to take up psychology just like her sister Claudia.
"I just like understanding people more in-depth because it’s just nice to have more compassion for people who sometimes need it most," she said. "I feel like we all go through some mental issues. I feel like when you have a better and deeper understanding of it then it’s good for yourself but if you can help somebody then that’s good."
The Expensive Candy star entered showbiz at the age of 6 but took a break five years later. She returned at the age 15 and eventually became one of the rising young artists of her generation. In fact, she played the leading role for Mirabella in 2014.
After finishing high school, Julia went full-time in the entertainment industry up until the present.
Julia Barretto has been keeping busy with her film projects. After her daring role in the film Expensive Candy with Carlo Aquino, she is now preparing for the release of her upcoming film "Will You Be My Ex?" with Diego Loyzaga.
