Are Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque back together?
The two sparked reconciliation rumors with the actress' recently shared photos on social media, where she can be seen wearing a ring on her finger.
After posting an animated image of her endorsement for a skincare brand, social media users were quick to share their observations in the comments section.
“OMG! Sino nakapansin dito nung ring?” a commenter said.
“Yown! 'Yung ring ang nagdala,” another one wrote.
Skeptic users, however, pointed out that Bea used the hashtag #LatePost in the caption. They also noted that Bea's hair looks different now.
Another promotional post, however, had more of their fans' hopes up.
Bea's travel solutions brand BASH Manila recently shared a photo of her against a blue sky background holding their product with her left hand.
Her pose made the ring on her finger stand out.
“Naiyak ako ah. Sana matuloy na nga. Please give LOVE a chance,” an Instagram user commented.
Some users, however, believe the photo was taken during the engagement period of Bea and Dominic. The local star previously shared behind-the-scenes photos with the same background in November 2023.
Other users said the ring could’ve been easily edited out if it had been used knowing the engagement was already called off. Some also said that even a new post using old material needs consent.
“If Bea approved this post for Bash Manila, it may have an underlying meaning. Who knows?” one user said.
Dominic was also seen leaving a like on the post.
"The ring and the like ni Dom," a social media user wrote with a heart emoji.
Bea and Dominic confirmed their breakup in a joint Instagram post on Feb. 11. Days ago, veteran host Boy Abunda announced their split after public speculation about it had spread online.
They first sparked dating speculations in 2019. After a period of being spotted together in similar locations, the GMA-7 star confirmed their romance in August 2021, saying it “just came out naturally.” They got engaged in July last year.
Bea previously said that they were planning to tie the knot in 2024.
