Angelica Panganiban and Gregg Homan share details of their wedding
Angelica Panganiban and Gregg Homan's wedding is pushing through next year.
In their vlog uploaded last June 3, actress-host Angelica Panganiban and her non-showbiz partner Gregg Homan answered questions as part of their vlog's first anniversary.
One of the most asked questions was about the date of their wedding.
"We were going to get married last year pero we wanted to make Bean (their daughter, Amila Sabine) a part of it," Gregg said. "So we are going to do it early next year,” he added. “We are looking at places locally to do it. But I am excited for it."
For her part, Angelica revealed that they had to postpone their wedding twice, but is positive that it will happen next year.
"Parang twice na naming dinelay yung wedding. Last year 2022, and this year 2023, dapat aalis kami. Ilang beses naming triny mag-elope pero parang ayaw ng mundo na itago namin,” she quipped.
“Malakas magdasal 'yung mga kaibigan at ang family members namin. So, ngayon mukhang matutuloy na siya," she added.
She went on to share about their wedding preparations and that they had already notified their friends and family about their new wedding date.
"Meron na kaming save the date, sinabi na namin siya sa mga kapamilya namin abroad para makapagtipid na sila, makapag-ipon na," she said.
"Sa mga friends namin na sobrang busy 'yung schedule nila sa life, marami silang commitments, inunahan na namin sila na i-save na 'yung araw na iyon,” she continued.
Although they did not disclose the exact date, the couple assured their fans that they can guess it right.
“Kung ano ‘yung exact date, I think may clue kayo kung kailan,” Angelica said. “Kaya niyo ma-figure out ‘yan.”
In the vlog, the couple shared more about themselves, including their routine as parents, the meaning behind their daughter’s name, and the specific time which holds a special meaning to them.
“What with 5:20 p.m.?” a fan asked, the couple consistently airs their vlog at 5:20 on a Saturday.
“Madalin lang ‘yan, kasi nung gusto ko mag-propose kay [Angelica] at 4 [and] 20 [date and time], nakita ko ‘yung ganda nung sunset nung April 20. I had the whole day planned for us to be at 4:20 with the proposal and everything, but siyempre buntis ka [Angelica] non,” he said, saying how he considered adjusting the plan with Angelica’s situation.
“Dami kong arte, ayokong lumabas, ayokong mag sunset,” Angelica recalled, insisting that they should just rest. “Malay ko bang magpo-propose siya,” she added.
An hour late from their plan, Angelica shared she said “yes” to his proposal at exactly 5:20.
First met in 2020, the couple announced their engagement on October 8 last year. They welcomed their first child together, Bean on September 20, 2022.
