BTS members RM and Jin have fully recovered from COVID-19, according to BigHit Music.

On Jan. 4, the agency announced on the fan platform Weverse that the two members have finished their quarantine on the afternoon of the same day.

“RM and Jin who had been receiving treatment from home for the past ten days from Saturday, Dec. 25, are now able to return to their daily activities,” the agency said in a statement, adding that both members did not exhibit symptoms while in quarantine.

On the evening of Christmas Day, BigHit announced that Kim Nam-joon and Kim Seok-jin—known as BTS’ RM and Jin respectively—tested positive for the virus.

Group leader RM, who remained in the US for an extended period of rest after BTS’ widely successful four-day “Permission to Dance on Stage” tour in Los Angeles, California, tested positive while on quarantine after arriving in South Korea on Dec. 17. He was asymptomatic.

Meanwhile, Jin, who came back home to South Korea on Dec. 6, was feeling mild flu-like symptoms in the afternoon of Dec. 25 so he underwent PCR testing and was found positive.

The announcement of RM and Jin’s recovery came a day after another member, Min Yoon-gi a.k.a. Suga, recovered from COVID-19, which BigHit also announced.

Suga, who also stayed behind in the US after their concert, was “administering self-care at home” after testing positive for COVID-19 upon returning home on Dec. 23.

According to BigHit, all three members have been fully vaccinated and none of them had any contact with other group members after their return to South Korea.

The agency thanked fans for their support and the medical frontliners for their service during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We will continue to place the health of the artists as our top priority, and to vigilantly follow the healthcare guidelines,” BigHit said.
