Race, but make it scary: Here's where you can sign up for a zombie run in Intramuros on Halloween

This Halloween, will you survive the zombies?

Run For Your Life: A Zombie Run, a 5km race through Intramuros, is happening on Nov. 1 from 4 to 8 a.m.

You won't just be running in this race, though. Since it'll be in the Halloween season, you will also have to stay alert for anything that might jump out at you from the darkness of the Walled City's streets. Every corner will pose a fresh challenge, aside from surviving the brain-eating outbreak. 

The P999 registration fee will get you a finisher medal, race singlet, race bib, and additional goodies plus souvenirs. 

Run For Your Life is part of the bigger Halloween event inside the Walled City. 

Intramumu is a two-day street party at Magallanes Drive, Intramuros that begins on Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. the next day. For runners, the fun continues with Run For Your Life early morning of Nov. 1. The party picks right back up that afternoon at 4 p.m. and wraps up at 2 a.m. the next day. 

There will be a DJ competition, battle of the bands, costume and cosplay competition, a pop-up market and bazaar, plus featured performances. 

The organizers want Intramumu to be all about "creativity, connection, and experiencing Halloween together," so go ahead and wear a costume. But feel free to go as yourself, too. 

Take note that a ticket to Run For Your Life does not give you access to Day 1 or Day 2 of the street party. You will have to purchase separate tickets for each day or, if you're planning to see the party from start to finish, you can buy a two-day pass. 

A one-day pass is priced at P465; a two-day pass costs P930. Tickets are non-refundable. Due to the limited onsite ticket availability, it would be a good idea to secure your tickets early.
