Megan Fox offers advice for single ladies: ' Do not waste your energy on boys'

Megan Fox had a piece of advice for single folks and relationships.

Talking to E! News at the Revolve Festival on April 13, the Jennifer's Body star was asked about what message she had for ladies in their single era this summer.

"I don't know if I'm the best person to advise because my advice is like, just learn a skill or develop a hobby," she said "And do not waste your energy on boys."

"All they're going to do is drain you. Just move on. Invest in yourself."

This comes almost a month after Megan talked about rumors that she called off her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly while speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

"What I can say is that [he] is what I refer to as being my 'twin soul,' and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what. I can't say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow," she said on March 20.

"All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred [that we got engaged, called it off, and now people aren’t sure what our status is]. And I could see them being confusing, or interesting to people, and them being like, ‘What’s up?’” the actress added.

On March 21, Us Weekly reported that Megan and Machine Gun Kelly were "living separately" while working through their rough patch.

Despite their rocky relationship, the Transformers actress still listed the musician as one of her dream headliners for Coachella in her April E! News interview.

"Well, obviously, I have to say Machine Gun Kelly. I'm not in the modern era, so I would say, Guns N' Roses or, you know who I would love to see is Weezer. Wezzer's so fire."

Megan and MGK publicized their relationship in June 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. They got engaged in January 2022 and shared that they drank each other's blood as part of a ritual.
