Beatrice Luigi Gomez has returned!
Philippines bet has returned to the country on the evening of Dec. 15, just two days after representing the country at the 70th edition of Miss Universe in Eilat, Israel.
In a set of photos shared by the Miss Universe Philippines Organization, Gomez is seen at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport 3 arrival where she was greeted by the Philippine Navy.
In a press virtual conference on Tuesday, Dec. 14, she thanked her supporters and shared a bit about her thrilling experience on stage.
Gomez said: "Maraming salamat po sa sumuporta sa aking Miss Universe journey, especially to everyone who were with me during my Miss Universe Philippines journey."
"To all the Filipino communities here in Israel, I’m very grateful to all of you for supporting me and especially during my finals night. It was very heartwarming to see all of the Filipinos in the audience maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo for giving me all the courage and strength that I need to compete and to make it to the Top 5 finalists," the Cebuana added.
There's no exact date yet as to when her homecoming parade will be, but according to the Director for Communications of MUO, Voltaire Tayag, they will definitely hold one after the holidays.
Gomez ended her pageant journey after advancing to the Top 5 finalists of Miss Universe 2021.
