LIST: Here are the nominees for the 49th Gawad Urian Awards

The nominees for the 49th Gawad Urian have been unveiled.

Leading the race is Quezon with 10 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Screenplay, followed by Cinemartyrs and Sunshine with eight nominations each, and Bar Boys: After School with seven.

Eyeing the Best Actress crown are Odette Khan for Bar Boys: After School, Maris Racal for Sunshine, and Krystel Go for I’mPerfect, among others.

Meanwhile, in the running for Best Actor are Jericho Rosales for Quezon, Elijah Canlas for Rumaragasa, and Carlo Aquino for Bar Boys: After School. For Best Film, Quezon, Sunshine, and Bar Boys: After School are among the five films competing for the top prize.

The date for the awards night has yet to be announced.
