Pokemon Go hunters are in for a treat at AyalaLand Estates’ Easter ‘Catchathon Scavenger Hunt’

Published Apr 11, 2022 6:10 pm

AyalaLand Estates offers a new Easter experience with the “Catchathon Scavenger Hunt Easter Special 2022” on April 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Seasoned and newbie Pokemon Go hunters alike are invited to the AyalaLand Estate grounds for a day to "catch 'em all" on the gaming app, Pokemon Go. The event will happen at the Alviera Country Club, Vertis North, Nuvali, and selected Ayala Malls, including Glorietta, Ayala Malls Circuit, Solenad 1 & 3 in Nuvali.

Participants must register for the event to join the Catchathon contests, where Pokemon hunters stand the chance to win various prizes—from Pokemon Items to gift certificates from Ayala brands—for the most impressive catches of the day: the Skyscraper Champion for the tallest Pokemon catch, Minimaster Champion for the shortest, Feather Weight Champion for lightest, and Heavy Weight Champion for the heaviest.

Along with a day of digital Pokemon hunting through the Pokemon Go app, visitors also get the opportunity to take photos with onsite Pokemon mascots across the estates. Pokemon fans are invited to come in costume to fully immerse themselves into this unique Easter experience.

The Pokemon Go gaming app is based on the worldwide video gaming phenomenon Pokemon, which places players in a role-playing game (RPG) world filled with hundreds of small combat monsters they can collect, train, and battle with. The Pokemon Go app combines the world of digital and physical by using GPS technology for players to catch Pokemon in their real-time environments via their phones.

The event is one of the first rollouts of the AyalaLand Estates on Fleek campaign, as the developer brings trendy, pop-cultural enthusiasts into its spaces to grow, celebrate, and share their interests with the rest of the community. Patrons of AyalaLand Estates are in for a year of fresh experiences, vibrant activities, and a whole new feel to the community spaces they know and love.
