Krispy Kreme to give away free dozen donuts to random customers every day this 2024

The local chain of the popular American donut store Krispy Kreme is giving away a dozen of its signature original glazed donuts to customers at random every day for the entire year.

Krispy Kreme said it's to make the day of its patrons, dubbed the Originals, memorable via its “Spot Happy” campaign.

According to the store, the challenge for its Originals is for them to "spot happy moments in their day and magnify their happiness" through its products.

About 100 select stores nationwide would participate in the campaign of distributing over 500,000 donuts for the year 2024.

“It’s as random as it gets. No announced instructions,” the brand said, adding that customers may pay a visit to a nearby store and find their luck.

“This ray of sunshine in someone’s day is something that anyone might need in this fast-moving world,” Krispy Kreme said.

The campaign was launched in 2023 with a video showing customers’ relatable moments as they enjoy donuts.
