OPPO's new Reno11 Series 5G gets amped-up cameras for shooting Instagram-worthy photos

A good camera on a smartphone is a must for capturing moments vividly. When you're sharing photos on social media, you'll want your shots to be crisp and clear.

Luckily, you don't need to a DSLR or other expensive cameras to snap amazing pics as smartphones of today are more than capable of shooting high-quality portraits.

OPPO has brought to the Philippines its newest smartphone line, the Reno11 Series 5G, which the brand calls its "Portrait Expert" due to its amped-up cameras and other photography features that let its users shoot 'Gram-worthy photos without breaking the bank.

There are two phones in this series—the Reno11 5G and Reno11 Pro—and in addition to its boasted portrait camera, they come with a stylish look, a long battery life, the latest ColorOS 14, and a wallet-friendly price.

Beefed up cameras

The Reno11 5G packs a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization for clearer shots, a 32-megapixel telephoto lens capable of bokeh-rich shots, and an 8-megapixel wide shooter for ultrawide photos.

Meanwhile, the Reno11 Pro 5G takes it up a notch with its 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor for high-resolution shots and the same 32-megapixel telephoto and 8-megapixel wide lenses. In front, both phones carry a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Both phones' telephoto cameras also have a 47mm focal length, allowing users to take photos in varying focal lengths—they can make their background or foreground blurrier or less blurry according to their preference.

The camera systems in the two devices phones are matched with OPPO's Portrait Expert Engine, which renders skin tones naturally, removes blemishes, and optimizes image backgrounds so the bokeh effect in Portrait mode looks more natural.

Specs-wise, both the standard Reno11 and the Pro have 6.7-inch screens and a 3D curved design to make them comfortable to hold.

The two devices also run on the latest ColorOS 14 which comes with features such as Smart Image Matting allowing you to cut and paste a subject in an image, and Smart Touch for moving images, texts, or links from one app to another.

In addition, this Android OS has Aqua Dynamics, which works similarly to the Dynamic Island on the iPhone where activities float at the top of the screen and can be accessed with a tap.

To keep its users powered up, the Reno11 Series 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery life capable of 67W SUPERVOOC flash charging. OPPO claims it only takes about 45 minutes to charge the phone up to 100%.

The Reno11 5G is available for P24,999 in either shimmering Wave Green or a cool Rock Gray, while the Reno11 Pro 5G is priced at P31,999 in either a sophisticated Rock Gray or shiny Pearl White.

The new OPPO phones are available for purchase through the brand's official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop pages as well as through Globe and Smart.
