If you’re passionate about taking pictures, whether it’s of yourself or the beautiful moments happening around you, having a phone with an excellent camera is a must-have item on hand.

Luckily, OPPO has just announced its new Reno8 T smartphone, and it’s touted as the new premium gadget that will not only let you capture moments with a crisp and clear result, but also allow you to zoom in on objects like a miscroscope, making it possible for you photograph details that are hidden from the naked eye.

In its grand launch on Feb. 8, PhilSTAR L!fe got to sit down and witness the state-of-the-art features of the phone that has never before been seen on the smart device manufacturer's Reno series.

Underscored as their newest "portrait expert," one of the Reno8 T's main camera upgrades is that it boasts a 100 megapixel portrait camera, a first in the Reno series, that can give you that much needed clarity for high-quality pictures.

Equipped with a 2MP microlens, the smartphone is remarkable for giving you the power to zoom in on pictures similar to a microscope, which you can customize to magnify 20 times or 40 times. This is featured alongside a 32MP selfie shooter that lets you unleash incredible selfies

Another innovation of the Reno8 T is that its Sunset Orange variant comes in a fiberglass-leather design, a first in the Reno line series. The design is said to have passed several wear resistance tests and is touted to last long even if you rub it many times.

The phone also comes in Midnight Black, which is designed with a matte finish that leaves no fingerprints behind.

The Reno8 T will also not burden you with its weight as it is an ultra-slim phone that is 7.80 millimeter thin and scales about 180 grams.

In terms of battery life, it has a 5,000mAh battery that can last up to 292 hours. If you're the type to play games on your mobile devices, you'd be pleased to know that it can give you 7.94 hours of playing. You also won't have to wait long for it to be fully charged as it can do so in just 67 minutes.

The device also comes with 256GB of storage and 8GB RAM, which is expandable for up to 8GB more.

During the launch, OPPO also introduced its new wireless earbuds Enco Air 3 (P3,999), which you can connect seamlessly to two devices and has up to 25 hours of battery life. They come in a trendy translucent jelly case and are designed to be worn comfortably all day long.

Selling for a reasonable price of P18,999, the phones are available to pre-order in OPPO retail stores from Feb. 8 to Feb. 17, in which you can get a free Enco Buds2. You can also pre-order from Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok with no added fees on shipping.
