'Stranger Things' season 4 has resumed filming

Stranger Things has officially resumed filming for Season 4!

Netflix and Stranger Things teased their followers on social media with a photo of a clapperboard and a grandfather's clock on the background, and the caption, "meanwhile in the upside down..."

After being on hold for about six months, filming for Season 4 had to cut short last March 12 when the coronavirus pandemic started to escalate. 

Not much is known about the fourth season yet, but The Duffer Brothers, the series creators, did say that one character is returning. “We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway — and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper,” they wrote in a note to fans accompanying the release of the first Season 4 teaser.
